What kind of fees do TravelMoney Cards carry? There is an inactivity fee of $5 after ten months.
Do Visa Gift Card have an inactivity fee? Yes, 5 dollars a month after 12 months.
Are reloadable gift cards connected to my account? No. Visa Gift Cards, Everyday Spend Cards, and TravelMoney Cards may be purchased and loaded from your account, but they are not linked to your account.
Can I reload Visa Gift Cards? No. You cannot add additional money to Visa Gift Cards once they are purchased.
How much does it cost to get a Visa Gift Card? $2.
When I pay with an Everyday Spend Card, can I get cash back? Yes.
Does and Everyday Spend Card carry inactivity fees? No, the Everyday Spend Card no longer has an inactivity fee. 
How much does it cost to get an Everyday Spend Card? $5.
Can I use reloadable cards and gifts abroad? Everyday Spend Cards and TravelMoney Cards can be used abroad but Visa Gift Cards can only be used in the US.
Are these cards connected to my account? No, all three of these card types are not connected your Elevate savings or checking accounts.
Can these cards be used abroad? Yes! Our Everyday Spend and TravelMoney, can all be used abroad. But, you can only use the Visa Gift Card in the United States.
Are there inactivity fees for these cards? Yes. The inactivity fees are different for each card:
  • Everyday Spend Card - No longer has inactivity fees. 
  • Visa Gift Card - A $5 fee after twelve months of inactivity
  • TravelMoney Card - A $5 fee after ten months of inactivity
How much money can I put on a Visa Gift Card? Visa Gift Cards can carry amounts between $10 and $1000.
How much money can I put on an Everyday Spend Card? Everyday Spend Cards can be loaded with amounts from $10 to $5,000.
How do I activate an Everyday Spend Card? Everyday Spend Cards can be activated online or by calling the number on the back of the card
How much money can I put on a TravelMoney Card? TravelMoney Cards can be loaded with amounts from $100 to $5,000. They can be reloaded as many times as you need.
How do I activate a TravelMoney Card? TravelMoney Cards must be activated online or by calling the number provided on the brochure at time of purchase.
How do I fund and reload a TravelMoney Card or Everyday Spend Card? These cards can be reloaded online, through the CUMoney app, or through a Visa ReadyLink participating merchant.
