Acts Six Soup Kitchen

volunteers serving lunch

Awarded April 23, 2018

Acts Six Soup Kitchen has served those in need in Brigham City for 33 years by providing a hot meal on Thursday nights from 5 to 7 p.m. at their location at 912 North Main Street. In 2017 the soup kitchen provided over 5,100 meals to those in need. One-third of which went to feed children.

Susan Poulsen volunteers her time and helps keep the kitchen going, along with other volunteers. Acts Six is a non-profit and is run 100 percent by volunteers. No one is paid, and they say they serve the community because of one reason: love.
