Looking for a fun way to enjoy Pioneer Day without spending a lot? Communities across Northern Utah are hosting parades, entertainment, family activities, and fireworks. While each celebration offers even more activities throughout the day, here are a few highlights to help you make the most of your Pioneer Day.
Head to Dennis B. Vincent Memorial Park for Brigham City’s Pioneer Day celebration from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Enjoy free train rides, live entertainment, and hands-on pioneer activities like rope making, wheat grinding, gold panning, crafts, and more. Families can enjoy a full day of Pioneer Day fun in North Logan, with activities and entertainment for all ages. The day begins with the Fish the Platte fishing contest at 8 a.m. for kids ages 10 and under at King Nature Park and the mouth of Green Canyon (no fishing license required), followed by the Pioneer Day Parade at 10 a.m.
The celebration continues with family-friendly activities throughout the day. Cool off with free ice skating at the Eccles Ice Center from 2–4 p.m., then head to Elk Ridge Park for an evening of fun featuring Despicable Me-themed games, an outdoor movie, and a fireworks show at 10 p.m. Find out more about North Logan's 24th events.
Mendon
Mendon’s Pioneer Day celebration offers several days of family-friendly activities, community traditions, and hometown fun. Festivities begin Monday, July 20, with events like the Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest, Community Talent Show, and more.
The celebration continues on July 24 with the Pony Express Horse Race, flag football game, Youth Coed Softball Championship, and other evening activities.

Spend the day celebrating Pioneer Day traditions with family activities, entertainment, and community fun in Logan. The celebration begins with the Pioneer Day Parade at 10 a.m., followed by a full day of activities from 11 a.m.–5 p.m., including bingo, pioneer games, crafts, and more.

Teens can kick off the Pioneer Day celebrations early on July 23 with Teen Freedom Night in Tremonton, featuring glow-in-the-dark games, dancing, prizes, and free pizza for the first 100 attendees.
The celebration continues on July 24 with family activities throughout the evening, including vendor booths, bounce houses, free train rides, entertainment, lawn games, a community dinner by donation, the Little Bounceroo Rodeo, a free Home Run Derby, a Movie in the Park, and more.
